Wie wir reisen
Since we always travel with several dogs, we use a larger car with a built-in dog crate for 3-4 dogs. Sometimes we drive all the way through Germany and Denmark to Sweden without using a ferry. The bridges between the islands in Denmark are almost always open and without queues. Sometimes we take the short ferries between Germany and Denmark or between Denmark and Sweden. Especially outside of high season, we like to take the ferry with an overnight stay between Kiel and Gothenburg, where you can book a cabin where dogs are allowed. The nicest ferry runs between Kiel and Oslo in Norway. It’s a real cruise ship with lots of restaurants and activities to enjoy. However, the ferry is not suitable for dog owners as dogs are not allowed in the cabins. Here you can see some videos from our various trips.
