A new level for tourists

Marinas were bustling with activity, featuring vintage cars, motorhomes, boats built in Kristinehamn, arts and crafts, dogs, and more. These attractions were interspersed with exhibition stands from local businesses, flea markets, sporting events, themed walks, picnics, archipelago weddings, and much more.

A significant focus was on sailing and the eight 32-foot racing catamarans that were assembled and could be admired at Gattets marina this summer. Information sessions and test sails were held for various groups in preparation for the final international Picasso Cup regatta. The weather cooperated, leading to incredibly exciting duels just outside the Picasso sculpture.

Archipelago Week was a huge success and will become a recurring event. More tourists from German-speaking countries visited Kristinehamn, and we hope that Tallevika has been helpful in both attracting them and helping them make the most of their visit.
